Description
Finally, a Japanese-themed set! I've had this one on my list for quite a while, and with all the requests I've been getting for a yokai set, it seemed like the perfect time to do it!
This set was a ton of fun, getting to reference both yokai and different types of Japanese robots! I've always loved Japan's ancient history and their modern pop culture, so this was a perfect way to represent both! But the question remains: which side would win?

Thanks so much! That's a big part of the fun--a lot of characters start from a pun. It makes for a lot of fun references! And mini-figure toy lines from the '80s and '90s used super punny names all the time, so it's a nice tribute.

Oh my gosh, This is an epic concept which could work out as a game somehow. I like Mechabuki the most. He´s so dazzling flashy. XD

I'm not sure, either! I guess robots inherently have an advantage over weak, fleshly things, but most of these ninjas look capable of supernatural powers, which might give them the edge. Maybe it'd be a tie.

Yeah! Someone I work with suggested creating a 3D-printed prototype, and maybe Kickstarting a small production run! I'd have to price it out through a manufacturer to see if it might be doable!
Yeah, Kabukiroud is a cool-looking character! And yeah, both sides are too fun; I have to assume they'd call it a draw and just drink some sake together.

1.) Dude whose body is segmented into normal flesh, then exposed muscle, organs, and skeleton. "Gross Anatomy"
2.) Old librarian with a Necronomicon. "Ms. Dewey"
3.) Puzzle-themed robot with a Rubik's Cube for a head. "Conundrome"
4.) Paper doll made of homework, with an "F-" for a face. "Red Ink"
5.) Rusted locker with eyes in the door slats and a monster hand coming out of the barely open door. "Lock Mess Monster"
6.) Principal in a suit, with a P.A. system speaker for a head. "Principal Mourning" (Like "morning" announcements.)
7.) Colorful, silly puppet teacher with smaller version of itself on its hands. "Kindergoblin"
8.) Chemical goop snail with a broken glass beaker for a 'shell' on its back. "Goopsie" (like "oopsie!")
9.) Eye-patch wearing, hardcore bounty hunter with a "Hall Monitor" sash. "Passmaster"
