Thank you! That's exactly what I was going for! I wanted to show another side of being intelligent besides being an engineer or inventor. Plus, it seemed to fit the time period a bit better, too!

I like how Raph just all like "COME AT ME BRO". Nice color differentiations, though maybe Donatello should have something besides just a teacup for his color. Other than that its still awesome.

Thank you, sir! Yeah, I thought about making an article of clothing on Donatello purple, but I thought it would be cooler/more subtle to keep it to one costume element.

I think it might be neat if you did a coy fish kind of coloring to them. I love the reinasance theme, and I think that it would make a cool print. I might also add maybe their names as konji in the background like semi hidden behind each character. Ok. I've said enough.

Good ideas! I actually tried putting their names back there, but I lost my kanji font when I got my new computer, so I didn't get the full effect. I'll give that a shot again down the line when I find a new font!
Koi fish coloring would be cool! Like all orange and white with touches of blue? That could be interesting... Thanks for the ideas!

You're welcome for the ideas. Thanks for the art. Thinking about the koi fish makes me wonder if one of them would look cool with a yakuza style markings on their shell or something. That might be beat. It would take a lot of time but it would be pretty fun I bet.

crazy renditions, lol. I still would've gone with more color identifiers, whether it be bandannas or other accessories. Or even the tried and true all red routine. Either way, these are BADASS

Thanks, Chris! Yeah, I thought about that, too, but I thought maybe subtlety would drive home the more realistic theme better. Sort of like they only come across these colors by chance, not that they're consciously choosing them. Or something.
