Agreed. I couldn't begin to imagine the amount of awesome they could put into a remake of Metropolis, but knowing how Hollywood is these days, it would be soulless schlock written and managed by comittee. So sad...

Yes! I loved that movie, and all art deco! It's probably my favorite style! And for the film they mixed it with German expressionism--talk about the perfect movie!
