Happy New Year!!! Sorry I haven't posted much lately--the holidays and deadlines really kicked my butt, but issue 8 of The Revival is nearly done! Here's a page from it to give you an idea of what awaits! The forest Red is running through is a reference to an 80's commercial, and I'll give you a million robo-bucks if you can figure it out. I'm not giving you much to go on here, but old 80's nerds like me might remember a certain fun forest.

Gah! I just love your style! How do you combat procrastination? I feel like all I want to do is draw, but then I get, I don't know, scared maybe? And I just stop for a few weeks. It's driving me bonkers! However, seeing new work from you and other Deviants always gets me motivated again!

Yeah, that can be tough for me, too--the thing that keeps me most motivated is just my love of the story, and wanting to move it forward, but there are times when I just get so sick of drawing the same thing over and over. Watching a movie or seeing some art online that inspires me usually does the trick, and makes me want to get back to it! Sometimes it's good to take a break, too, and maybe draw something totally different, just to cleanse the palate, and then I feel more open to draw the stuff I felt bored with before. Fear can be an issue, too, but I guess the best way to beat that is to just face it down! Good luck! ^____^
