Well, I couldn't help but make a small reference to a third of my account name with Tack saying "U mad, bro?" which obviously only made Sir Peccatori furious. The Hellmouth Pec summons from under his feet are directly based on what was written and illustrated in the Medieval manuscripts.

I also wanted to show that the fight, or in this case for Tack, "Fighting Retreat", is not as one-sided as you would think, especially with Joan of Arc attempting to go Deus Ex Machina on Sir Pec.

Is there a reason he wants to kill the cobbler or does he just kill random people for no reason?

Thanks for the comment.

He does not want to mindlessly kill anyone in his way despite Satan forcing him to do so, especially if they remind him of watching his family die of lead poisoning.

Peccatori's eternal suffering as the Hellmouth tends to drive him beserk and he will turn desperate into trying to find some way to free himself from his eternal torment.

So he thinks that if he kills the character that inspired him, it would erase himself from existance.

Yet Joan of Arc is all too aware that such a blind method would never work. If it was going to work, Satan would try to stop Pec from doing so.

Otherwise, he would simply just trash the kingdom Tack lives in, loot all of its valuables (especially the golden balls as featured in the film), and steal Tack's fiancee, Princess YumYum.

So in this case, Peccatori is specifically after Tack due to his dillusions from his eternal damnation and anyone getting in his way will only put him in an even worse mood at this point.

In a way, this takes place before Steven Universe vs Sir Peccatori.

Will Joan of Arc be able to stop the deadly Hellmouth Peccatori?

Nope, she risks her safety distracting Peccatori, and even more spoilers, the Thief shows up to try and steal Pec's golden helmet, only for Pec to snatch him and prepare to make a meal out of him.
With Peccatori distracted on both sides, due to his rage, he leaves his gawking jaws wide open for Tack to fire one of his lead needles down his throat and through his ruby heart and driving the Jaws of Hell out of the Thief and the Cobbler universe.
Sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut like Tack as he was originally meant to.
Thanks for the comment.
