Thats not a bad idea either. Are you meaning it as in the beginning is the near ending and the whole thing as a flashback? Or just a flashback and it is picked up from there

yes, and i decided to add like a billion more subplots just fro the hell of it, so it never gets boring

nice. Okay, for a character...how about a fallen (or just a non-fallen) angel who is caught in the middle of their battle but can't be controlled, so he trys to survive in the city overcome by madness. He should get in some pretty epic battles, (maing everyone think he is awesome) but then, when he appeals to one of the main chars. goodness by approaching him unarmed and asking him to stop, the child impales him with a knife...or something sharp. It would bedramatic and awesome. Then, the char that stabbed him realizes he is definetly going to hhell, so he stops caring about being good.
