That's fine ^^ here's some extra info:
The magic in the city where Jack lives (and the story takes place) corrupted his body, making him born as a deformed (yet sane) child. He would've probably remained this way had it not been for the fact that his mother left him on the street and he was taken in by Feos, a demon who lives on the streets. After being trained to survive on the street by Feos (only to strengthen his soul) Feos stole Jack's soul ( an event many wouldn't have lived through). Jack was left alone, but detatched from the world of the living. Jack uses an extremely odd knife, but his expert skill allows him to kill even the deadliest of demons.
So, to answer the question, Jack isn't a demon, but more of a half-demon, as he isn't attatched to the world as most mortals.

While were on the topic of the battles, can you give me some info on you're character too? How does he turn into the different forms? (I haven't read the picture descriptions yet, but I'll check them out for some facts).

What's his personality like... and does he have any special powers and such? What would his reason be for entering the OC battle? I'm trying to make my OC Battle entries into a short comic series with a storyline of sorts :3
Feel free to ask any questions about Pilgrim. She's a weird crossbreed between a Satyr[Faerie goat people] and a Reiko Kitsune[Void elemental Kitsune. Kitsune being spirit fox people from the mysterious east. Reiko Kitsune have a reputation for being daemonic]. Though she looks like she's been around for eons. She's cursed with the Mark of Cain which exiles the soul from the person and binds it in the Earth, along with several other nasty things. Sentinels[Beings unfortunate other to bear the curse] can be killed but they will be reborn a short time after dieing, since they are barred from entering the afterlife... annnd... despite being smitten by God, slightly demonic, virulent, and slightly crazy... She's catholic :B

Jack, despite being insane, shows moments of brooding, calculating intellingence. He smiles a lot, the only times he doesn't are when he's actually thinking, or when he's pissed...really pissed.
He has the power to steal souls, and (although he doesn't know it) he can't be killed by traditional means, as he is soulless.
Reason for entering the contest? I'm not really sure about that, but I'll try to figure it out soon.

About pilrigm, how loyal is she to heaven...if she is at all? Is she one of the sentinels that you mentioned? Why is she entering the contest? What does virulent mean? How old is she exactly? What weapons does she use?

She was born sometime during the fall of the Roman Empire in what would become Germany.
On loyalty. She has certain morals she won't go against, though she's no longer the zealot she used to be she wouldn't join up with say... a group of demons wanting to cause trouble. But she wouldn't take up working for the Church again either unless it was something that was already on her own agenda... Her loyalty to the Church was crippled when she became a Sentinel[Yes she is one]. Think and old Paladin gone wanderer. She only worries about herself now, but she's not selfish, she hates herself just as much as everyone else. In the comic she is invited to attend OC battles. She has nothing better to do so dicides to go ahead with the challenge and test herself against the other fighters[eternal life is boring D: ] now she feels the need to prove herself after her loss in *wheaman 's OC battle. She is also determined to fight her way through the tournement for a rematch with ~Inxanity 's character Inx. She uses a variety of weapons she has become familiar with over the years including, knives, short swords, swords, lash-knives, whip-darts, spears, sickles, and her scythe. She is known to horde mysterious and legendary weapons she finds in her travels, two noteably ones being a pair of Saint Michael Blades.

I forgot to mention she has a few magical abilities like the ability to use and summon green flames called Balefire [link] , the ability to wrack her enemies with burning pain that leave marks and scars on their bodies that mirror her Sinner's Marks[link] , minor telepathy, and a nightmare entity she lets live in her body...

A little bit of both. ^^ He's one of the main characters, and the story follows him, but when it switches to the view of others, he's evil. I think it will be challenge to make him seem like both a protagonist and antagonist, but I think it will be cool if I do it right. I hope that helps a little

A. All of the obstacles and people who wronged him dies and he stays on earth forevermore stealing souls.
or
B. He finds his mother, and due to his lack of his heart, he steals her soul, but then he rediscovers his heart, Hymn kills him and Jack allows himself to die. (yeah, I wouldn't like that)

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the ending...
Here's a hint...because the demon stole his heart/soul...Jack is searching him out...but because he is lacking a soul he has little connection with mortal life on Earth. What would happen if he ever got it back?
