Just finished this one this afternoon.A small one (again) although not as small as the EarthyMini!
9cm wide x 8.5cm tall x 2.5cm thick.
Springback, raised cords, 3 part closure.
Heavy, hand-stained watercolour paper, 54ish pages, torn and gold edges.
Pigskin leather cover, hand-dyed. Recessed bits in hand-painted sculpey, crystal (green aventurine and Paua shell cabochon), and wood.

Also, there seems to be some confusion here that I've noticed. Not just with this book but also with others. I do not COVER pre-made books. If it's a journal then it would be nice to have the locking pin as a pencil so you'd always have one handy.

Beautiful work on this little book. It looks as if it were made by fairy hands and someone found it under a mushroom. The work on the binding is just amazing and the lovely pages. The closure is so perfect and beautiful.

I didn't know that (I keep meaning to really go through your gallery - I've got you bookmarked) but in that case I'd say you're twice blessed - first with talent and an eye and then with the good fortune to be able make it your life.
Absolutely lovely work - this is one of my favorites out of what I've seen. The textures and color are exquisite: it looks earthy, and old. The pin of the closure is beautifully detailed, the leatherwork and bindings are neat and tight, and the paper and leafed edges are elegant and appropriate to the theme. The whole of it seems organic, and I can imagine the texture; it would be the prize of any collection.
(Speaking of which, I'd love to see your living room, or wherever you store these until you sell them - it would be enough to lose yourself wholly to your imagination, I'm sure of it.)

My studio is a riot of things! A massive bookshelf positively overflowing, plants, inspirational imagery, dark velvets and lush greens. Stacks of paper, mounds of cds, tools and materials everywhere.
