This past weekend's birding trip to Cape May, New Jersey was no disappointment. Among the many life birds I photographed was this Brown Booby. Brown Boobies are residents of the Gulf of Mexico/Caribbean area, however, this female decided to hang around way out of her range among the Cormorants. She has been here since August!Our first look at her was from a bit of a distance, but she ended up perching on a sign that was in the path of our boat and gave us an amazing look. There were a lot of boats passing through, but we stuck around so that everyone could get good looks. Some of the boat sounds disturbed her and made her take flight giving us even better photo ops.
