S u p r e s s i o n, C o n s t r i c t i o n and P e r s e c u t i o n. Have you ever have the feeling of something, someone, somewhere that just hangs over your head, supressing you, constrcting you, persecuting you?This photo cut to my heart. The conceptual value of it, to me is probably one of the most signifigant pieces I've done so far.
Please, I'd love to hear your interpretation of it. So let loose.
I'd like to thank =artistech once again for having such a sharp creative eye.

I really like this photo. It reminds me of something I was told about love when I was first married.. it has LOTS of rough edges and sometimes it will cut you and hurt, but in the end it is still a wonderful, beautiful thing. I look at this photo and see something that is usually thought of as dangerous and ugly and here it is turned into something pretty to look at. Just like in life sometimes we are hurt and things get ugly, but when we continue to look we see more and find beauty in the most unlikely places. That is what makes the journey worth it.

i like how the dark background feels sort of lonely, like the sun's going down and you'll be tangled in the barbed wire (or love) until they find you dead and covered in dew in the morning...
ummm that sounded really creepy of me...
lol but i really like it, the visual representation of love contrasts so well with the razor wire to create a really powerful and harmonious image, great job!

i love your comments.. you put so much thought in some of your deviations and i agree with this one.. i dont know how to really express it. something about love that makes you feel so choked up inside sometimes, but yet you feel so choked up inside as well WITHOUT it... i love it

Wow. I friggin LOVE your conceptual art. Beautiful.
It is amazing how intense emotion (whether love, happiness, or affection) is always there, even if deeply hidden or barracaded. This piece can show how painful it is sometimes to bear the burden of emotion. It can also show that love is always there, even if barried behind anger/torment/pain.
Many ways to conceive this piece... beautiful.

This strikes me in a slightly different way than other comments I have read here. My boyfriend just broke up with me, so I see this as love hurts it tears your heart apart and makes you bleed and die a little inside. Great photo.

here is my take on things
the heart.. in the center of the photo...represents, well, a heart. the razors are cutting thought it as do many obsiticals in life, and the tangleness through out the heart are symbols of complications and no escape.. meaning your stuck in a big mess
..i hate messes

Not bad photo manip. The seam is kind of showing at the top. I think it could have been blended better. I think I would have cloned out the webs too. Really great concept though. I really like it. Good one.

Hmm, I;m not sure I see what you mean by the seem showing at the top.....can you describe it better? I know, a few people have suggested cloning the web out...but I dunno, I didn't feel like tampering with it much more than I had.

Well, do you see the top center, where the mirrored imaged was put together, it has that red part coming down from the top and I think if that was gone,it would look less obvious.
