Taken place in ME2, soon after the Archangel recruitment mission. (Which is why Veronica still has her facial scars. Hasn't built that machine yet.)Veronica makes it a habit of visiting Garrus, though during one visit the turian stops paying attention to his calibrations, and seems to find Veronica Shepard much more interesting. . . And he's not sure what to make of that. And Shepard is clueless.
In my mind, she's rehashing what happened on Virmire, and the would be dialogue goes like this..
Shepard: And than the whole thing exploded! Just went BOOM!
*Garrus stares at her*
Shepard:Garrus? Are you listening?
Garrus:*snapping out of it.* Uh..what? Yes... Boom..

And I think this explains why he's always doing Calibrations and wont talk to Femshep during them. She's so damn distracting.. Talking about bombs.. and things...
