While Veronica Shepard was out shopping, an unexpected visitor came to her apartment.

Having come to Earth, hell bent on making Veronica Shepard talk to him, Garrus Vakarian loses his nerve right outside of her apartment. He doesn't try to make his presence known, and instead stares at her door for over an hour before turning to leave.

Suddenly the two are face to face. Memories of their last night together flood into their minds, followed by the hurt and doubt that had developed during the weeks, maybe months, apart.

Veronica takes a step back in shock, Garrus freezes in position. Neither knows what to do.

Will Garrus throw his flowers at Shepard than run away? Will they awkwardly stare at each other while passerbys take holos of them? Or will Veronica throw her bags at Garrus than take a dive out the near by window?

All of those outcomes seem more likely than just sitting and talking.....

But Shepard and Garrus have hunted down Saren together, and taken on the Collectors side by side. Surely they can save one relationship? Especially when it means more to them both than they are willing to admit.
