They look really pretty along the Columbia Gorge too. Much nicer than smokestacks for sure. I like the scratchy quality I'm not one for technical terms. It's very much like when I use my charcoal and pastels.

I am, at heart, a paint, chalk, charcoal, crayon, etc.. kind of girl so I'm attracted to the scratchy look too.
