Thanks so much. It's been fun to be a little more creative than I've been for some time!

It's rainy cold here and yukky. I am really ready for warm weather.
I hope you get well soon... just a cold?
I'm fine, have been working on the house here and getting ready to head back to California so I will be there when Evan (my son) and his wife have their baby. I guess that would be a new 2nd cousin for you. It's supposed to be a boy.

I think they will name him Bryce and the middle name will be her father's name which is some Romanian version of Michael.
Clara, Evan's wife, speaks fluent French, English and Romanian with a bit of Italian thrown in. You and she could converse well!

It was so cool to look down inside that plant and get it to work.

It looks so alien, so strange. Yet it looks very tender. I like the blur to this. In my mind this photograph is like a photograph of a kitten, so soft, so delicate - then again, this frond is a baby plant, isn't it?

It was done with my Lensbaby (lens) and my 200D. And yes, it's very tight on the insides of what I think is a young sago palm. I love the look of those curly parts and all.
Thanks for the great comment.

interesting how the eye searches for the sharpest areas of this pic... I see your focal length is "0" how did you manage that???

I used my crazy lensbaby to do the photo and it doesn't register anything at all.
