Description I decided I needed to sit down and do a bit of work on an image. I think it's interesting that when I do that, what I am thinking about at some level appears.

Thanks Irena! Sorry I've been away so much. Lots to do... I miss you but always love seeing your photos. I think of you every time I try to shoot a macro... and realize my inadequacies.

Oh I forgot to mention...I love the texture and the way that the pattern of the waves, like sun rays, mimic the "fingers" of the seashell. It really draws one in to the horizon. There's something hazily Botticellian(?) about it.

This is so relaxed and laid back! I can just hear the waves lapping against the shore and the gulls flying over head and the sand between my toes..

I love it when your artist vision takes over your work. It's always there, but sometimes you post an image that provides an opening to such an interesting internal world. Just great work, and a great pleasure to view.

Thank you Susan. My world is has been a 'ractical' one all summer long. Finally we are on the other side of this whole debacle. Whew! I'm happy to be thinking about creating again. LOL We will be in California in November. If I'm up north (SF), I'll let you know.
