This photo strikes me as very sad. I think because the veil seems so out of place in this setting. Like the bride was kidnapped by a fearsom beast and this is all that remains to remember her by. Very well done.

Old-fashioned feel to this, though i can imagine a gothic faery tale towards this, it reminds me of something queen mab would leave behind after she has lost her life and her love. I think this is lovely, and your idea is beautiful. Is there a over-grown garden behind it because i can imagine taking the veil and pushing back the over grown branches and such and going into the deep dark moon light

You won't find my VW in the batch! I've been thinking of putting old photos I've shot mostly in my scraps. Means taking the time to scan and all but it would be fun. One person I watch does that. ... family shots old and things.

I had a van a gan.... too...and a old vw bug was my husbands first car...soo yeahh we can relate..I did look for one in your gallery but got soooo busy looking at things I had not seen....and I still am fixin to go back and ponder some more...LOL

I'm not sure how this variety of tassle attaches to the nipple, I can't imagine that such a light fabric would spin all that well either, but hey it's your party, you dance however you want to. Beyond that, this shot is very nice, it's colouring makes me think of the rustic and warm feel that some artists go for in period pieces or pushing the country element. Beautifully shot and I love the contrast, as though it looks like you were very particular in burning parts of the image, be that something you did or not.

thanks. I may have dodged and burnt, not sure. It's from an analog print I did a few years ago. I just scanned it, fixed the contrast (since my scanner sucks a bit) and put it up.
