I visited NYC during the week before 9-11-01 and took this photo. Reflected in the building is the WTC.Related content

Reminds me of a zebra.... Although once I read what it was about, I got that creeped out feeling. All in all, great photo.

It must have been bizarre to realise you took this when 9/11 actually did happen.
I like the title in context with this piece, it really brings a different feeling to the photo itself.

It is bizarre. At the time I just thought it was a cool image, but later it echoed what was left of the building even. Yikes.

It is a rather ghostly looking image.

Looking closer it also reflects like twisted and bent facade.

When I took it ... having no idea the Towers would be gone in a weeks time, I thought of op art. Now I see a whole different thing.

This is one of those pieces that gives you a chill just looking at it. It shows such abstract beauty. Promises of what could have been but no longer is. So many lives changed in a moment, so much innocence lost. You have captured something that can never be replaced.

I know. It was strange when I was there, the towers were so tall and large when I got close that I went for the reflections as a shot. I took about three or four images in that area and only two have the actual towers and aren't so good.

I need to look for mine - they are photos - gosh knows where they are ....but am glad they are etched in my mind, was pouring ground level then I went up in the elevator, ears popped and remember when doors opened sun was shining that was a wierd feeling ....will never forget it
