EDIT: I tweaked the noses with better shading. Now they look much better ^_^

I had an urge to draw them ever since I've finished the game. I'm not exactly a Noel/Serah romance shipper- I'm more interested in them as platonic friends. I can see the possibility of them falling in love further down the line and I don't mind reading a few fics on them, but what I saw develop between them in the game was a close friendship.

I see Serah's love for Snow as more of a 'first love' kind of thing that she outgrows as she develops an identity for herself, whereas Snow's love for her is something more of an impulsive/passionate decision he made one day. They definitely love each other, but I don't see them as a compatible match. Snow is too caught up in being the hero and might not be ready to really settle down.

As for Noel- I think he has/had a crush on Yuel and there will always be a place for her in his heart. Considering he lost everything, it makes sense that he would be so protective of Serah. It's only natural that he cares about her. If given more time, a deeper love could form between them- but for now, I love them as best friends.

....And Mog, too. I love Mog, kupo.

Normally I don't put in a signature in my work, but since this is a fairly new fandom that I foresee getting popular, it's probably for the best. I'm sure my digital painting will be downloaded and spread everywhere whether I like it or not. But if anyone wants to use the image for any reason, just please tell me, give me credit for the original work, and leave a link so I can see what you're doing. Since this is fanart, I'm not that uptight about sharing.
