"D.J."My sister wanted a portrait of the Siberian Husky that played Demon in "Snow Dogs" and Max in "Eight Below"
its her favorite dog, she loves his eyes.
Late Christmas present. She requested that I only colored the eyes.
Even though most artist/art teachers advise against it, I got that smooth
shading using my finger to smudge to graphite.
Dont let people tell youthere is a 'right' and 'wrong' way to draw, because there isnt.
Do whatever works for you. C:
Done with graphite pencils of varying hardness and my mechanical pencil 0.5.
The blue was done with prismacolor colored pencils.

yeah it was so random!
it was some guy that we started talking to,im not sure why we were talking to him anyways, its been over 5 years,but we were talking about animals because we were watching a cattle and horse auction. then we started talking about dogs and he goes, "do you know the dog max from eight below, well thats my dog."
i hope he wasn't lying, cuz that would make me sad
