"Lennox"

This is Lennox.
The two top images are from when he was happy and with his owners.
Left showing him as a puppy, in his best friend/owner's arms, a disabled little girl who loved him.
Right shows him as an adult being a normal happy dog chewing on a bone his family had given him.

At the bottom, the mood is different, it fades from a happy yellow to a serious red.
This is when he was taken away from his home for merely looking like a "pit bull terrier type"even though he was an American Bulldog Lab mix. Under BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) Act a law that makes it illegal to own a pit bull.
He was being assessed for his behavior here.
They would later deem him a vicious dog, even though he had never had any history of aggression, his behavior assessment video leaked, and showed him wagging his tail, licking the assessor's faces, and sitting for treats.

The Belfast City Council in Ireland took him away from his
family after he had lived with them for 7 years.
He would stay there, they wouldnt let the owners visit, they wouldnt let them know of his location, or even of his care
or health.

He was being kept in a too small concrete square filled with saw dust (which isnt healthy for dogs) sitting in his own waste. He also had large patches of missing fur/wounds all over his body.
This alone is sign of animal cruelty and lack of veterinary care.

Here he would stay in a legal battle for two years as his owners and people all across the world tried to stand up for him. Even celebrities and experts like Cesar Millan from the tv series "The Dog Whisperer" on Nat Geo, and Victoria Stilwell from "Its Me or the Dog" on Animal Planet.
But still they would not relinquish Lennox.

He was killed unfairly on July 11th, 2012.

His family said:
"Despite previous assurances otherwise, we have been denied the opportunity to say goodbye. We have also been told that we cannot collect his body and bring Len home. We have been informed however that we will receive 'some' ashes in the mail."

This story needs more people to see, and know.
Please do not support BSL (Breed Specific Legislation),
you can help get and investigation started at the BCC (Belfast Cty Counsel) where Lennox was taken away kept and abused, by emailing the television show called "Dispatches" and ask for an investigation of the Belfast City Counsel, if enough people ask, they will do it.

We cant let them get away with all that they did, and we cant let it happen to any more dogs.
