"African Painted Dogs" Lycaon pictus. A Mothers Day present for my Mom. <3 She loved it and said shes gonna frame it. It sybolizes how me and my 3 sisters can drive and stress my Mom to near insanity. But we all still love eachother cuz were a family, a pack, and thats what they do. They stick together and their bonds are unbreakable.
....O.o i started it late and it took longer to finish than i thought it would. I was up till 4 AM just trying to finish it. @.@ Also known as the African Hunting dog, or African Wild Dog. I prefer to use African Painted dog because farmers/ranchers hear Hunting dog or Wild dog and think negatively towards them, and can make them think they're just a bunch of wild domestic dogs that may hunt their livestock. Wich is bad for an already highly endangered species. Painted dog does not have any negative attachments.
My camera takes crappy pictures so i touched it up a bit with GIMP. (Special thanks to inutsukisister for telling me about GIMP and how to use it.) ^^

Yeah the references i used was for mommas face. Didnt have much to go on for the pups. So im glad they turned out okay. Thank you! If you look closely at the moms forehead you will see that the stripe takes the shape of a heart. XD
