Cheerilee gave them a good base for Twilight to work off of. Twilight allows them to reach for the stars.

Twilight; she wasn't trained to be an educator at all, and she really doesn't follow any sort of school-curricular BS.

Twilight is a better teacher, being a personal student to Celestia, she has a much more understanding in learning about things other then math and reading. She has learned many lessons the same way the CMC did in the episode, and she knew how to handle the situation

Probably Twilight because she is like a personal tutor, but Cheerilee seems like a nice teacher too. I'd say that Cheerilee has the resources to teach more broad subjects to more students, and Twilight has the resources to teach specific things to a select few students.

Yes! Twilight would think it would be easy, just teaching some fillies and colts, but have her become totally exasperated at how rambunctious the kids are and at how little they listen, and have Twilight realize that there is so much more than just knowledge and ability to teach that is required for teaching little kids.

hmmmm... well i personally love Twilight...but unless you're as excited about learning as she is... class may be a bit dull.
On the other hand, the experiments & Fieldtrips may be better with Twi.

Cheerilee is the awesome teacher you have in elementary school, where as Twilight is the one teacher you get in High School that has the really hard classes but you think she's awesome anyway because of how cool she is.

This makes me a little sad, since we know who AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle's family, but its never shown who Scootaloo has for family; who she's living with, and that Twi has to escort her home. ):

Cheerilee is obviously a much better teacher in terms of interacting with children considering it's her job and talent. Though I'm sure as a tutor or something Twilight would be great since she knowledgeable in so many different things that most probably wouldn't know.

Difficult to say. Twilight has more knowledge (we assume) but Cheerilee knows them better. And according the the CMC Cheerilee is the best teacher they could hope for. I think it would make a good episode; they could have a teach-off.

Twilight can probably take on an apprentice, or a small group of apprentices, at this point, but you are most probably correct about her being unable to be a school teacher in charge of an entire class. Just the general chaos caused by trying to teach a full class would probably trigger an episode within a week...
