This piece is dedicated to my friend
He is the king of character art.......AMAZING!!
This is not a characture of him, it is just an example of the things his artwork has taught me.

You claim it's not a characture, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have some elements of my artistic life in general that you may not have known about:
-I was a Bomber/Commissioned Graff Muralist back during my High school and Early college days (Nice use of the ol' reliable Krylon cans, I use Montanta these days)
-I used to wear a Military Green hoodie during my raver days as the SHAMAN.
- My starpoint character for my comic label, Malik. Malik is arabic for "KING"

I sure as hell don't know what my art could have taught you, but if you learned something from it, then this guy couldn't be happier than he is now, Do what you do and be the best at it, ALWAYS!

It wierd how the world works sometimes my friend. I did not know those things about you, but I knew it was for you as soon as I came up with the idea. Sometimes there is alot of energy in the world and things come together. I am so glad you like this man, means alot to me.
Yeah Krylons suck, but what an icon of graffiti, I am very glad I captured different stages of you life man. I know that you been having a "bad" time lately. I just wanted you to know that people look at your work, enjoy it, and are inspired by it.

There is always ppl who are better....I learned that when I skateboarded. There will alwasy be an artist or two that kicks all our butts. But you got heart man, and I drive to improve. I think you are better than you think.
