ASH has shown me a lot of support and honesty over the years, I hope I have show her the same. We both are tryin' our best to learn and try new things. Can't tell ya' how much it means to have a friend like that. Thanks you ASH, for everything.

When I was young, or maybe before I was born, my mom read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. It changed her life, and therefor mine. After that my mom was addicted to fantasy, and you could just tell it in her attitude, laugh, and presence. That may sound weird, but my mom just had that quirky glow 'bout her. She was a hobbit in her minds eye, and the world had an adventure for her. No matter how stressed she got, there was always a glow 'bout her. Life's troubles were just part of her adventure. I owe a lot of my creativity and life outlook to that glow, and to the fantasy I find in books. My mom always said that her heaven would be the Shire, and as nice as that would be, I hope she stays with us forever in our little hobbit hole.

I loved the Lord of the Rings movies, but I HATED the way they did Gollum. He was always a monstrous construct of pain and shadow in my imagination. A drain clog from hell. I always wanted to draw my version of him. This version is suppose to be humorous, not what I would do if put to the test. I think DM might have to do him up sometime soon And, to all those true LOTR fans out there, just know that this drawin' was suppose to be a humorous interpretation. So don't go burnin' me at the stake for any persevered inaccuracies.
