Augus wins, although it'll be pretty tough.

Augus beats Lobo. Him coming back from death would count as a second round, and Death Battle has no rematches.

Augus is badass, but Lobo is immortal so he has no way of winning.

Well actually think about it. Lobo is immortal. But not because he can bust out of the afterlife or because he exists beyond the realm of flesh. His body regenerates like crazy. Mantra has been shown to be able to literately obliterate an opponent. If there is nothing left to regenerate, where does Lobo go?

No, Lobo has been barred from heaven and hell in addition to his regenerative powers.

You're apparently no getting what I mean. His soul can no longer go to the afterlife so he is eternally bound to his flesh. If there is no flesh left, then what happens to him? Does he remain in limbo forever, all ghost like?

I couldn't find that, honestly. I checked DC comics wiki, but it didn't detail exactly when Lobo was banished from heaven and hell, and that despite that he was still sent to hell once after a battle on Apokolipis, which isn't detailed on the wiki, before being sent to the abyss by Zatana, and the wiki has pages on a character named Abyss rather than a place, and then it just mentions him alive during Brightest Day.

Exactly. In this kind of fight, there isn't really a way for regeneration to be an ace in the hole, it can only be a big help. That being said, I do have to give this to Augus. He has experience, raw power, durability, and attack capabilities on his side.

You could just count a ring-out.

That makes no sense, the fight is supposed to keep going until one of them is dead, and they wouldn't stop at that point.

Augus can't eat souls or damage Lobo enough to count as a win, he can regenerate even all there's left of him is a drop of blood, and he's barred from the afterlife so he can die even if Augus doesn't leave behind a single piece of him.

It would only be one round of them fighting. Not "Augus beats Lobo and then waits for him to resurrect."
