All right! Three more tuts from you! ^^
Very good tut. I didn't know that you could use masks like that.
I only use the lock transparancy-button.
Learned something new. :3

Hmm, I've never used Masks, I've always just used the selection tool or locked transperancy on a layer. Yes, those various "mode" things can create some interesting effects I often use them to add patterns and texture to cloth and such. Fun.
You have now nudged my muses back into action, thanks for the tut

Ooh, I didn't know about Layer Masks before. 8D I don't think Photoshop Elements can do them, but I can try to find it at least...

Very informative tutorial. This is similar to the technique I used in my last deviation, inus the extreme detail I tend to end up doing. The main difference though is that while you used layer masks, I used clipping masks (which caused me more trouble than they're worth). I think I'm gonna use layer masks next time.
I'm very interested in seeing conceptual colouring. There are times when I have some good sketches I want to add colour to but don't want to make a full-blown painting outta it.

Faszinierend .
. Hoffentlich hilft's mir weiter, ich kΓΆnnte etwas Eingebung echt gut gebrauchen

Very nice. I agree with you on the "stealing artists form of colouring" they don't steal it. I notice colouring tutorials as it seems to be the thing I need to improve on. I read all that I come across and then I make my own style based on parts of each tutorial
Anyway, great tut +fave.
