"Like this, it seems to look rather stupid." My favourite line in the entire tutorial. XDDDDDD
This was very helpful! Even though I'm not such a huge fan of dragons, the techniques you introduced here are very useful for me, digital-painter wannabe. Thanks a lot!

What is the Color palett?
I really hate to use the eyedrop tool all the time to get the same color i used the last time T.T

I use eye-drop too. never used palettes.
but make a dot-like splatter of each colour on a seperate layer. makes it easy to eye-drop

your tutorials really help all the other artist... i like your drawing stile and i like draw dragons too...^^ i think when you draw them you can show all your imagination...
i'm just a biginer dragons artist , but i think i draw dragons quite well... but there is one problem... i don't really now lot about shading and my dragons looks childish... maybe you can give me some information about this ...or if you can't maybe you know who could?
i would be very thanful...^^

I've looked at all of your tutorials and thought they were very helpful. At one point of my life I drew dragons all the time, but then it seemed like I forgot the joys of doing so. I'm sure your tutorials will help get me started.

do u know if there is a way to do this stuff on photoshop without scanning the picture. for example can i do this by downloading a picture off of a digital camera?
π: 0 β©: 1
mythori In reply to cha2010 [2007-02-16 18:26:14 +0000 UTC]
oh?
well if your camera is good you certainly can.
but I'll tell you right away:
If you want clean linearts or just a very good quality, better get a scanner. CANON makes great scanners for pretty few money.

Thank you for your tutorial! I was having trouble with getting brushes to look randomized, and Tut 2.2 took me straigt through it! Anyways, awesome.
P.S. Monster Hunter rocks! I like the Plesioth better, but the Kut-ku Is My second favorite, since it was my first wyvern to kill^^

So basically, if there was a sun oming out in the corner, everything in front of it wouls have auras of light that are just like, a lighter shade of that color?
