Don't get your hopes up.
(what a cynical ass i am) It's not a good tutorial, but it does teach you a few things, which WILL make it tutorial-like. so there. Drawing dragons, though, is not one of it's best features.This is three tutorials in one. A dragon hint tutorial; a dragon drawing one -ish (but it's pretty lame), and a pose...giver/ tutorial. This was requested some time ago for the contest.
It's...something. but one thing it's not is professional looking whatsoever; and i think i yell at you the reader more then a teacher should.
And i'll provide links later when it's not 2:45 in the morn.

This complexity explains why I'm not an artist, yet also explains why every fictional species I've created resides solely in my head... or in text (not on this website, mind you). Of course, trying to picture things in my head is like watching a "bunny-ears TV." It's fuzzier than a rabbit in a blizzard! And for some reason I've got lagomorphs on the brain! O_o
By the way, you lost me on the neck thing. Was that more to do with smoothness of neck-to-head transition?
Oh yeah. And this was humorous, as it was meant to be. It's like the Deviant Art version of watching an X-Play video game review. Oh man! When they tear a game apart, they have fun with it! Ironic as that sounds.

I know what you're talking about with the fuzzy tv... most of the time when i'm trying to visualize, someone keeps flipping the channels....
I'd say i've got the clarity of a TV's from the 1980's.
