Description
Part two of my dragon tutorials. Part one: [link]The hardest part for me when I was teaching myself dragon anatomy was learning the wings of the dragons. So, here's my input into the anatomy of one!
I actually like how that human hand came out. I used my own arm and hand for reference for everything on here. Cool terms for the sections of the finger are from this human anatomy site: [link] .
I really, really hope this helps you! Again, You may not use my style of dragons to make any form of money!!! That just...wouldn't be fair. But you may draw and practice using it! Try developing your own style. It'll come, don't worry!
It should be self-explainitory. But, if you have any problems, just ask me!

If you're going to reference dragon wings to hands, you might as well make the "fingers".. correct, for lack of better wording. Look at your hand. Not all of the fingers are the same length. The same should go for dragons.
Good tutorial, otherwise.

Very good point . This tutorial, however, is really old and, to me at least, very inaccurate, so I won't even bother defending it, as I agree with you XD. I don't make my wing's fingers the same length anymore, by the way
.
I ought to redo this tutorial someday.....hmm....

I like the way you referenced to our own hands, though the hand in the picture is a little fat and stubby. But other than that, the wing looks fantastic. If you want there is someone on here named neondragon and you can look off her to see how the wing creases are. Just a thought ^^

heh, thanks xD. Wow, this thing is old |D; and quite anatomically incorrect . Yeah, I know of neondragon
. She's amazing
.
I ought to redo this tutorial someday...since I now can draw wings much better than...2 years ago XD.

Well you can always do an update and show off your new techs and all. My old ID with this picture had a WHOLE lot of gross pictures that just weren't... right o.O. But now I have a good tech than I did so hopefully I'll be posting as soon as I can ^^.

Very nice! I'll have to refer back to this when I draw dragon wings in the future ^^ Tis quite nice
One comment: If you're going to use the words "proximal" and "distal" . . . you may as well use "medial" for middle, since that's kinda what it means *shrug* ^^ But that's just my medical teminology coming through so don't mind me. .. *sneaks away* . . . ^^

This is really great example for those that would like to do better wings
I also believe wings should be based on the bone structure of the human hand, and I feel I've done rather well on it ^-^
