Description
Part of a 3-section tutorial on how to photomanipulate a Chinese dragon. While it's specifically about the dragon, the exact same techniques apply to any subject.This part is the basic collage stuff. Tutorial: Dragon Head
goes into greater detail about blending and suchlike.
Tutorial: lighting and coloring shows you how to blend the dragon with the background.

At the end, the head still looks kinda copy/pasted on. Something to work on for you, but I've no idea how. The legs also seem a bit odd, especially that one sticking out to the right.

The sketch is on a separate layer. I simply delete the layer when I no longer need it for reference.

Except for the snake stock, they're all pictures that I took at museums or out when I was hiking or things like that. I have a digital camera and I take lots of photos to use in my artwork.
