Minecraft is an sandbox style building game which allows you to use different materials to build pretty much anything you want. Although I do make castles and such, I prefer to make statues out of sprites. There is a old, not as good free version of the game, but Beta is currently 25% off, and that will give you access to everything.
I think I summed it up well enough. Don't need to explain too much. You can look into it for yourself. Try searching it on Youtube: tons of crazy stuff on there.
