This is my entry into the December 2016 Deviant Universe challenge. In it we had to choose one of our own D.U. characters to be apart of an ensemble art piece. Four other original characters needed to be chosen from the D.U., and I chose to utilize Tyr, Captain Mc Gray, Glacier, and The Mighty American, respectively. I sadly did not have nearly as much time as I would have liked to work on this particular challenege, but it feels good to know that it's now completed. Upon completion I came across a horrifying fact...Tyr was missing his right hand, and in my piece I had him brandishing a bolt of lightning with it. I had to then flip the image to make it still work, and then re-do the Captain's "T" badge so that it was on the correct side of his uniform. I kept Titan right around his typical fighting height of around 100 feet(though he can obviously grow to a greater height), but still put them all in the middle of the desert so that they could smash and destroy without worrying about nearby collateral damage.Glacier deviantuniverse.deviantart.com…

The back ofTyr's head in the foreground like that is a bit strange - but other than that I absolutely love this picture. Great sense of scale and action and an interesting choice of characters too. Really good stuff

I completely agree, as I had not seen any images(that I could think of) of the back of his helmet, so I just had to make a sort of guesstimation of what I thought it might look like. I was in total panick mode when I realized I had rendered the wrong side hand on him as well(as he is missing one). So I had to flip the image to make it work, and make some tiny alterations here and there. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment, as it is greatly appreciated !☺
