No, this isn't because of Mass Effect 3, this is because of other things, such as the online pass, butchering of companies (Pandemic anyone?) and just being douchebags in general.Electronic Arts may make good games but they're evil, even worse than Activision.

It was made primarily by D.I.C.E., so it's mostly free from all the bullshit in actual Egostistical-Asshats games. It's not shit, but it seems to sell like shit compared to the actually-shitty EA games.

..That's true, unless the hackers CAN'T rid the copy protection. Besides, looking at Need for Speed, it was all good until Carbon (the last good NFS game).
NFS World is free-to-play, but EA and QuickLime didn't do nothing to fix it (QuickLime got put aside, and now Ghost Games, another part of DICE, takes interest in it. I doubt it'll be any good, because EA Black Box truly understands the EAGL engine!)

I hate EA. I didn't used to, but the SimCity fiasco made me despise them with every fibre of my being. It makes me feel awful that not only have I funded this company, but that many good games are now owned by them. Like PopCap, makers of Plants Vs Zombies. Just you wait. Plants Vs Zombies 2 will more than definitely include plants only obtainable through DLC while the game costs Β£40-Β£60.

Oh, tell me about it. I loved that game, and it had so much potential for expansion packs and all. Now, it's sitting there, getting dust. Thank goodness we have some mods that make the game fresh, but I wish we had a sequel to that game.

Indeed, they destroy everything, they killed Ultima, Command and Conquer, and are slowly killing Bioware. EA is a parasite, that such eats, and then sucks dry companies. At least Sir-Tech achieved a dying victory against them, as EA wanted to block the relese of Wizardry 8, and buy the rights to the series. But in it's dying throes, relesed the game, Wizardry 8 is aclaimed as a brilliant game, and they sold the rights to series to the Japanese, before Ea could get them. Definitely a Dying Moment of Awesome for Sir-Tech.

Man, I really started to hate EA when they screwed up the evolution game Spore. The development demo of the game was bloody and more realistic. Instead, we got a vile cartoony left down after years of waiting.
