Fired a compact .45 myself, not a old military modle, but it was a .45 nonetheless.

I fired 150 rounds from one recently. My fingers were sore as hell, but I couldn't stop. I stopped when I realized I'd spent about $60 on the gun and rounds. Man, such a smooth recoil on that thing. I just need to work on my shot anticipation and I'll be gold.

This reminds me of a drawing of a turkey I drew in the first grade.
My hand was usually covered with glue,
So it was a really messed up looking turkey.
Still, the resemblance is striking.
