I just checked, and Yes! On your vacation last year you painted your laundry in Fresh Memory! I hope you have a Fresh Memory every year for the rest of your life!!! I just love this, Nancy - the flowers, the light hearted laundry, the clouds, the feeling that life is good and supper will be delicious! Very Lovely painting!!!

Nancy, do you ever air-dry your laundry back in the Netherlands? I feel so nostalgic when I see your paintings with laundry flapping in the breeze - I remember playing hide and seek in the sheets that were hanging up to dry!!! Boo hoo - I loved being a little girl in the 50's!!!

yes I do, in my tiny backgarden! The long sheets are the favorite ones ofcourse! Lots of room to hide in!

I can tell you what a wonderful view it was to look up at that flying laundry! In combination with the feeling on being on holiday.....being happy, that is something!
The pedestrian crossing sign has a special meaning since Cor was lost for an hour and kept walking and running in search for Roos and me....(late in the evening when it was dark.....)

Yes I did and I well remember the old walls and the fantastic landscape you can catch. Hope you had time to pay a visit also to San Gimignano that is not far ... otherwise, next time.
