SAVING THE TREES

The important (blue) parts of TGM (The Giant Mushroom) are cut into pieces by Witchy and The Other Witch and kept in the bag The Other Witch carries. It looks like they are decorating the wood. And they are. They just know humans are coming back for the thicker trees that still stand. Curious as people are, they will want to know what the blue parts are.

"What is that nice smell?"
"I want to have some!"
"Look, have you ever seen that?!"

Before they tear down some wonderful old trees, they surely will try to purchase some of those shiny blue parts swinging on the thin thread. People never saw this before, they will want to know.

Only people with huge vehicles will be able to get so high (climbing on the vans), to be able to reach that high. Children and other quite innocent persons who just walk kind of peacefully in the Wood, just wont be able to touch the poiseness parts. What will happen to those who come to chop down is this: The moment they touch a part, humans fall off their vehicle, and sink into the ground for 1 day, with their heads just above the ground. They cant move, and the Witches will pay their "students" a nice visit and do some chatting with them and teach them a lesson in the meantime.

You will not be surprised to learn, that people who experienced this, will leave the Wood as soon as they can. Telling everyone who wants to know to stay out of this creepy, dangerous wood. And the poison of TGM has some long-term function as well: people who hear the story of the treechoppers, will believe it for sure and stay away as well. (The Red Snails will take care of the vehicles for sure, pas de probleme).

The Witches can be satisfied for now, although their hearts bleed for the trees that could not be saved.
