Description I guess I should offer an explanation! The past month or so I picked up a side gig at a summer camp where I taught childrens to draw good (and want do other stuff good too). I learned a thing or two from this experience, one being: the lack of common sense and obscene levels of ignorance kids these days possess, and two: How little patience I have when it comes to dealing with said ignorance. Especially when it pertains to knowledge of BASIC PRIMARY COLORS. Bless those teachers and their hearts full of saintly patience and understanding that I forever lack.

I'm going to be a smashing parent, I know.

Of course I am a rather decent human being who knows that sarcasm probably isn't the best method for knowledge enrichment. Instead, I imbibe copious amounts of alchohol cope by translating my un-funny life into slightly more amusing comics! I uploaded a bunch onto my facebook for friends, but thought I'd do my share as a terrible person and post some of them here.

(PS This girl's not colorblind. It'd sure explain a lot of things if she were tho...!)

that...was me, during my first semester of teaching.

And for the rest of this year when I come back.

I don't think teachers can be made. You really need a knack and love for it.

Hahaha OMG, I totally would suck as a teacher cause, honestly, I've come across this issue already even when trying to explain things to adults. But primary colours.. uh oh...
Btw I'm lucky that my kid is quite intelligent (maybe too much though, he always tries to outwit me in arguements and doing well - I have to be on alart 24/7 XD; )

Oh dear i know exactly what you mean! I work part time in a library and I had a woman ask me "where are your childrens books?" and i just said "everywhere" seeing as we were in the childrens half of the library.

Oh i also had another child keep asking me how to pronounce words from a book, which if one or two is normally okay, but it was every word that had four or more letters to it. I got asked all manner of things this summer.

I even have some children quee jumping to the counter ignoring the adults all ready there. Its not just common sense they lack its manners as well.
