Oregon Trail , you're the love of my childhood life. Except for the parts where you make me die in kiddy-pool level waters.I'm just going to assume everyone gets this joke because EVERYone MUST have played Oregon Trail in the school computer labs while growing up. It's like, the childhood rite of passage. Or whatever new-fangled funducational games the schools have children playing nowadays.
(Fun fact! Every time I play OT I name my team members after the guys in my old college suite. It never gets old writing epitaphs for them XD)

I had to play Oregon Trail as a requirement because in Oklahoma Indian and Cowboy stuff is a big deal. I know how you feel gurl, I know how you feel.

I remember watching other kids play this.... about five years ago, at this one summer camp. During break, if you were fast enough, you could play computer games and one of the more popular ones was Oregon Trail. I don't think I ever played it myself though... Now I want to play it just so I can name characters after people I know and laugh my ass off when they die.

I played Oregon Trail when I was a kid. Most of my people died of 'Milk Fever' I think it was. Maybe. Anyway, they died, that's what I remember.

i found a version for my phone a few years back. i don't ever remember beating it. i love the dog slad version. they didn't take as much to care for. lol

I have not played Oregon Trail since I was a teenager! omg XD well I remember playing Oregon Trail and I remember one time one of my ox broke his leg an asked should I heal it or keep going I thought it was just a broken leg so I kept going until we stop by the river they asked me should we cross it and I said yes also thinking it isnt deep I can still keep going and we all died...because we all drown....I use to say this is bull shit! lol it sucks because every step you take some shit happens!

Very well written, and the right of passage is so true. Who doesn't remember Oregon Trail as a kid? Again, really well done. This could be a fun way to put out comics now and then. I mean, how do you think Penny Arcade got their start?

my favorite part of oregon trail was passing by the graves of my other classmates that had died. i loved reading all the really stupid names that they had named there characters. on of them was sonic the hedgehog! frekin epic game.
