Description These make great wall hangers. Put a nail up and hang one of the tail coils over it and the bend below the head is the hanger. These make neat bird feeder hangers also. Well.. maybe not so neat for the birds. I treat these with an oil at the black heat stage so they are more rust resistant.

You should give it a try. Sometimes there are workshops offered if you check your local colleges.

Thank you for that, a couple years ago I was living in Ireland and I passed up a great opportunity to learn the basics but instead I opted for more travelling. Perhaps that chance will come around again, although I have a lot of artistic endeavours on my plate these days but your work is inspiring, thanks again.

Thanks all for the kind comments! Looked around the forge to see if I actually kept anything to post here. I'm a farrier full time and a blacksmith part time and never thought anyone would want me to show anything I made so over the years, anything I made was given away to friends and family. Right now I'm attempting watercolors with not much success.
