Wow that is a beautiful piece. Excellent work. Do you do any commission work?
(Contrary to fictional opinion, iron is very potent with magic, as it is one of the best conductors of magnetism - this force is what is behind a sorcerer's ability to summon and repel other forces according to their nature.)

Thanks! All hot-forged pieces will have this kind of look to them after just a few days out of the fire. They gradually get darker and darker, until it's nearly black, giving rise to the term "black-smithing."
