Description This is a bit of a test - to see how figures look along side "Fury".  They really add a great sense of scale to the build!  I've got four more figures to complete.

Thanks - that was my most epic model build, but well worth it!

It's funny how Maschine is in a very calm, relaxed pose while one of the GIs is clearly about to shoot something. I suspect he's in for a real shock when that gun goes off in a few seconds.

Truly one amazing sherman model there and superbly built and painted and gotta have taken a lot of time to make this diorama!

Your antenna looks a bit questionable, but over all nice build and excellent figures too.

There are some nice aftermarket antennas available - but I've spent enough on aftermarket items for this build!  It would be nice if it could have stayed nice and straight/smooth, but I'm just going to make do with it.

Thanks for the comments too - a few more figures, and some buildings, and I'll be done!

Also Geosammy

I make antennae out of wire from old data cables. Ok, I can pick this up free at work, but if you can't do this, try asking at the local computer store.

Sounds good .

Some other sources for antennas are, a nylon bristled broom or paint brush, old guitar strings. Cat, rabbit or any other animal whiskers, wire ties for sealing of bags.
If you want to get fancy, try Evergreen or PlastStruct syrene rod, or any brass rod of your choice.

As for animal whiskers...  Don't be cruel, if you have a cat,  they fall out on their own at a fairly quick pace.

Yeah, I never use photo-etched aerials (except for "towel rail" types) either, because they tend to be obviously flat.

Yeah I hear ya.
That seems to be the nature of most antennas anyway.  No matter what,  they always tend to break or bend.

Good luck with the rest of those figures. I look forward to seeing them.
