Description Assalaamu alaikum [Peace be to you],

[For my brothers and sisters in Islam]
Many Non-Muslims don't know what Islam is.
Many Non-Muslims don't know that Islam is a faith of peace.
Many Non-Muslims don't know that Islam is against any form of terrorism.
Many Non-Muslims don't know that Islam is a rational faith that supports science and common sense and freedom of speech.
Many Non-Muslims don't know that Islam offers solutions to all problems of the world.
Many Non-Muslims don't know a thing about the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- and his beautiful teachings.
Many Non-Muslims don't know the difference between Islam and Muslim...
Many Non-Muslims don't know that so called Muslim countries are not ruling with true Islam.
Many Non-Muslims hardly know anything about the true Shariah...

Many Muslims often like to put the blame on the Non-Muslims for their ignorance.

But let's be frank. and let's not try to deceive ourselves...

Aren't we to blame for not doing enough to bring Islam to the world?
Aren't we to blame for not talking loud enough to reach the Non-Muslims?
Aren't we to blame for not giving the correct image of Islam to the world?
Aren't we to blame for not trying enough to practice the teachings of Islam the way they should be practiced?
Aren't we to blame for not being good Muslims?
Aren't we to blame for not knowing enough about our own religion in order to live it and preach it?
Or...
Do we always sit back and wait for the scholars to do the job, We wash our hands and try to convince ourselves that it's not our duty to know more about Islam.

How much are we doing for Islam?

Long ago, we could bring the excuse "I'm illiterate."
Today this excuse is no longer acceptable.
Some of us like to bring the excuse: "I don't know enough to do anything about Islam."
But... didn't we say we didn't know enough 5 years ago? Didn't we say we didn't know enough 3 years ago, 1 year ago? Did we really progress? Are we closer to "knowing enough"?
We don't know enough today in June 2013. Are we doing effort so that we will know enough to start by the end of this year, if God wills?
Will we know enough to start by June 2014 or June 2020, if God wills?
When will we know enough to start?
Will we ever know enough?
Are we trying to know enough?
And before that, do we even know what "enough" is?
The prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- once said: "inform people even one thing about me." Which means, inform people about Islam even one single thing.
How many little things that deserve to be shared do we know about Islam?
Do we really know absolutely NOTHING that deserves to be shared so that we bring this excuse?
Do we not know a little about the God? Can't we talk about the God?
Do we not know a little about the pillars of Islam? Can't we talk about them?
Do we not know a little about the beautiful character of the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-? can't we talk about him?
Do we really not know anything to start?
or....
perhaps We don't want to start....

So Let's just stop blaming Non-Muslims for our shortcomings and let's look at ourselves first. If the Non-Muslims don't know Islam, it's because we didn't do our duty to show them Islam.
Let's recognize this truth and let's know our mistakes.
Let's start from today.
Let's first seek God's guidance and support.
Let's learn more about Islam. let's seek the truth from its sources.
Let's build ourselves as good Muslims.
Let's live as good Muslims following the example of the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-.
Let's learn more and whenever we learn something new, let's share it to the world.
Let's be active.
Let's be productive.
Let's be Muslims who make the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- proud.

If I'm right, it's from the God. If I'm wrong, it's from myself.

But my questions aren't about Islam necessarily. They are about Muslim nation. I know that you are Muslim and from prior conversations I don't believe that you are from America. I can just stop asking if you'd prefer.

I still think my origin is irrelevant. In my opinion, there is NO Muslim country in the world ruling with true Islamic laws, including my country of course. so me being from X, Y or Z is irrelevant.
So you can ask about Muslim nation if you like.

peace.

I respect your opinion. You are very knowing, and I made the mistake of going to you for the simplicity. I will find somebody else and respect your intelligence from afar.
