This is another item created within my pokemon hunter universe and lore.ever since I saw how the Technical machines look like and how they actually work (slapping a CD onto a pokemon head and spinning it rapidly to make it learn a new move) I always envision that a device is actually needed to spin these disc and implant the moves into a pokemon.
well they never explain how TMs are made and what deus ex machina is used in implanting the attacks into the pokemon.
so this is the TM glove, a device thats use to spin the TM disc to teach pokemon the moves they can learn and also a "weapon" that allows the human user to use some of the pokemon attacks physically.
the pokemon hunter wears a variation of the glove, you can actually see it in the pokemon hunter poster I drew back then

If not for the limitation of TMs still being single-use, I would want this even more than the pokeball rifle.

I'm not sure about Bullet seed being incompatible with this Glove.
If you look at the anime, they show Bullet Seed as a "Grass Energy-Based Attack".

Anyways, now that TMs are going to be reusable, I'd be very worried about the people who will use this glove to spam Fire Blast all day.

Moves tend to differ between Games and Anime.
For Tangrowth to be able to use Bullet Seed with his hands is evidence enough to call it a "Grass Energy-Based Attack" if only in the Anime.

heh intresting, well the concept is as long as it dosent require something from the pokemon itself to perform the move and its sort of energy base, the glove is able to replicate and manifest the move for a human to use.

Well, I think you'll be very happy to know that this experimental glove is not going to be handicapped anymore: Starting from Generation V, TMs are now REUSABLE and WILL NO LONGER BREAK AFTER ONE USE.

many RPG games got their own unique ways to cockblock new areas from the players, pokemon just took the easy way out via HMs

just a mistake i spotted...for the Adaptable tactics on the go, the last few words is supposedly spelt as defense and offense...not defence and offence...isit correct? i duno my eng not that good... xP

i dont come on deviant art very often anymore but one of the biggest reasons why i will come back just to check things out is to view some of your awesome animations. This is one of the coolest things along with your pokeball rifle that i have seen in a long time i hope u keep up the great work and i cant wait to see pokemon hunter 2

yeap, thats exactly what I've designed in mind. well not really gripping the pokemon face, much like pressing the output port to the forehead of the pokemon as the CD spins and makes it learn the new move.
which makes very good sense then having just a CD spinning by some unknown force in the FRLG animation lol

I could so totally see this in a video game by itself as a logical way for your character to gain powers, an adaptable glove. Imagine if it would accept disks or chips (which would be more durable in battle) that would also adapt the shape of the glove into say spikes or a hammer. I must see this used to it's fullest potential!

may not work at all since metronome is an attack thats base more on the pokemon than a physical energy attack.
the glove current prototype levels can only allow it to manifest elemental/energy powers or super strength like brickbreak or even the protect, mirror coat fields.
it is unable to create/manifest powers that may require the pokemon itself to perform.

exactly, theres only one glove, its impossible to recreate the conditions and the glove dosent have a database of all the attacks as it relies on reading the TM disc and manifesting the attack.
