Apep was the ancient egyptian spirit of evil and destruction who dwelled in eternal darkness.Stock used: imageafter and stock xchng.

The serpent is an enduring symbol through ancient cultures. To the egyptians it was the Apep, to the Christians the Leviathan, to the Nordics the Jormungand, and in biblical myths it was the creature that brought the downfall of humanity. Awesome picture, really captutes a sinister and menacingair.

Oh, now this one is amazing. This picture makes me think of a murderer, hiding from view, watching your every move. The highlight on the eye makes me feel like he is looking right at me, peering into my soul. I also really like the texturing on the face. There is nothing wrong with this manipulation, but i can say one thing on its behalf that i noticed may be a little out of place. I dont know if it was intentional or not, but the designes on the column, make it seem like this character is a giant. They just seem out of scale for some reason. Hmm, i dont know. lol. All in all, great work. This is definately one of my favs.
