I sit, feeling my insides churning
Wanting to scream
To make you see me
Understand me
Who I am, what I am, what I need
Need from you, someone....anyone
Needing release, fullfilment, touch
So much wanting...needing
I watch, feeling these things
At times feeling nothing
Wondering if this is all there is
Is there nothing more?
Is this all that I deserve?
Am I wicked?
Because of all I want and need?
Still there is no answer
And so I sit in silence.............and scream.

Great image - super work making the skin look as though it's been torn
off the left side of the face - the eyes are amazing; show such fear and
longing at the same time. Poem really supports the image and vice-versa.
The eyes are the thing though - make you feel as though you can see
inside this person...........

Now this is something I've been looking for. A very stopping image - you have no choice but to look at it for a while and feel the emotion that's practically flowing into you...
The eyes especially are startling, as is the hand in the mouth.

I took one look at this and about died. The manip is bloody (no pun intended) amazing! It really does work with the poem, which is spectacular as well. I don't know what else to say really. I'm just blown away by the pure talent.

How could I say anything that hasn't already been said. The photo manipulation is so good. At first I thought that the picture was a puppet like pinocchio (honestly that's what the thumbnail looked like) so when I saw it in a larger view I was amazed. The poem is so deep and full of frustration. The desire for more is always accompanied by the guilty feeling that your are lucky to get what you already have and couldn't possibly want for more. The way that you put the concept into poetic form is really good, and the photo that goes with it...I love the realism in the battered face. This is just spectacular.

"Oh, my god!" That is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this and consequentially I believe the guy in the pic is thinking the same thing. Maybe he's looking at himself in the mirror.
The emotion and eeriness is this is astounding! This is just made for a good scary story.
It gives your poem just the right touch.

first off, second i go into that feeling, their is a feeling that lies within our soul, some may say its passion, some may say faith, some love, some emotion, but what ever they happen to call that feeling that resides in a lonely soul, is never unmistakenly forgotten. For we all hope we can find someone to understand us, to listen, to hold, to talk with in the time of need. Someone to share little things with, short walks, a bottle of wine, smiling faces, children playing, storms, many more i can list. While some of us may have met that someone, other souls are still searching and hoping that this loneliness will be cured by romance, passion, or someone who connects with us. I for one don't fear to many things in my life, but the one thing i worry about is growing old alone, i thought about that quite a bit backpacking this weekend, and when i come back to catch up submissions, i see this awesome looking piece of yours, then when i read the poem to go with it, it hit me...Nebu, the two of these go hand in hand, wonderful job, and true!!!
