Our eyes reflect our lives don't they?My first submission to Twisted Realmz Pack VII. Enjoy!

Edit: In response to the many interpretations to this piece...it was design to simply make you think and come to your own conclusions as to its meaning. As for being patriotic...Im not even an anerican so there is no patriotism involved in this peice, but if that is what you see...that is fine by me.

Even though his life seems to be peeling away with his skin, he still seems as though he has some hidden hope. I'm not really sure what it is, but I just see this peace in his eyes. This is yet another amazing piece. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic work as always.. I find this one different than what you make normally, but i like it. To be honest, this is not what i prefer in your art, but i think this is pretty well achieved anyway. We can still find this " nebu's touch"

Wonderful use of colors. I love the texture with the cracks. This is really wonderful. I love how the eyes are just so big. Even though this is just a drawing. I feel I can almost sence something inside them. Great work bringing that out.

Ha, I remember a piece I did, called 'Jawbreaker', it's orignal title was 'Window to the Soul'.
Looked nothing like this though. I love the bright colors. And those cuuuuute little puppy dog eyes! I wanan adopt him.

This is just beautiful. The eyes really get my attention right away and I get this helpless and lonely feeling from them, which makes me sad. The colours... you know how much I love colourful work and that is another aspect of this piece that really catches my attention. I like the cracked texture you put into this piece, the big cracks compared to the smaller textures just add more to the piece in my opinion. I wish I had this as a poster. Wonderful work Shelley.

for my 2cents, i see it as a reflection of the american flag/spirit/McWorldism slowly destroying and tearing away at the rest of the world
and even if thats entirely juxtaposed to what you wanted, i marvel at your ability to create a piece that allows so many interpretations no matter
how disparate they may be
