The Logarithmic spiral is found everywhere in nature, from seashells to even how hawks approach their prey. In Paris, France, at the base of the Arc de Triumph, a glance to the heavens shows this same spiral in the descending stairs.Related content

I was reading an article relating to the logarithmic spiral and the golden ratio the other day so this gorgeous photo immediately caught my attention. I hope to see this site with my own eyes someday.

Just looking at this again, like you do when it's in your 's, and it's just come to me that it kind of looks like an ammonite, like one of those small fossil things you get.
