From my fanfic, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 9: Stairway to Heaven . Daemon is the elder sister of Joy, gifted with the task of giving purposes to life forms. She was one of the Cloud Men born with a truly bizarre appearance- red skinned with three heads- the left being a sauropod, the right being a mix of Ceratosaurus/Carnotarus and the middle being a human head with a third eye in the center of her forehead. She had wings on her upper back, centaur lower torso with a reptilian tail and prehensile feet like all Cloud Men. In spite of having a more unique power and capabilities than Joy, she's ultimately outshined by her sister in the eyes of others, no matter what task she does arguably better than her younger sister. This combined with Joy's innocently insensitive trait of taking away things Daemon herself loves to be forced to take care of things Joy doesn't like or want to do. It all comes to a head when Joy's accidental summoning of the Ocean Men, leading to Joy turning the majority of the affected Cloud Men into humans retaining their Herald/Guardian Angel/Stand powers. In spite of Joy explaining that it was prevent them from going savage on humans, Daemon saw this as a final straw to make her inferior. She then decided to rally the Cloud Men that were against Joy's action and waged war on her in order to establish an empire to enslave the lesser humans- with Daemon ultimately losing the fight. However, Daemon swore vengeance on her sister, swearing her heirs would make Joy's pay. She eventually died with her offspring taking on their mother's wishes to hurt Joy's descendants, eventually called Joestars, Kujo and Higashikata.

The song I from the Dehumanizer album of Black Sabbath plays heavily into Daemon's contractions in her character- angered being a metaphorical prisoner of the cage of being Joy's shadow, escaping it to establish her own independence, even it means through evil. While she spreads these ideals of evil into legions to combat Joy's forces, she doesn't believe in teamwork, looking out for her own happiness and viewing everything to be hers after years being denied of what she wants in favor of being forced to receiving Joy's hand-me downs or being second-rate to Joy overall in life. How she sees herself as a gigantic monster capable of shuttering worlds to make others feel weak when she's just a beast causing a ruckus in a house to hide the thin insecurities of herself of being the weak one. She knows of the rebels with the cause of righteousness, but views them as being inferior to her own ambitions and being alone at the top of everything, but still influencing the future of others from a distance. However, even when pushed to the brink of her abilities, she can't overcome Joy. How she simultaneously views herself as a saint and sinner, how she views Joy who does nothing, but takes everything Daemon does for herself, so she makes war in response. Violently attacking people with sadism while basking in her superiority. However, it's all for naught as Joy defeats her during her attack to try and take her powers for herself. The song's about a heavy metal musician being criticized for his music. Instead of being saddened by criticism, he is fueled by it. So when people criticize Daemon's actions no matter what she does in a negative light or ignoring its benefits, she embraces being evil like they expect her instead of wallowing in despair, but out of an insecurity of being ordinary compared to Joy.

With Daemon, I came with the idea of how Greek daemons were once guiding spirits to human, weaker than gods- superior to humans came to be gradually demonized into the evil demon depictions of modern times. With Daemon's appearance, I was inspired by the pagan mythological creatures like asura, pegasus, dragons and centaurs to give an appearance of an obscure human/hybrid god likely worshiped in early human history that wasn't as widespread as major deities. And red to contrast Joy's blue as opposites- with Daemon embracing her Cloud Men traits while Joy feels awkward.

I initially wanted to have I Dehumanize to be an ice dragon to contrast Joy's Garden of Eden, but having hands as a major motif, led to a more fittingly eldritch/ancient look of a prehistoric deity and fitting with Daemon's ability to mold others into what she wants to make herself feel better about herself. Her name Symbol is done to show how the name was perverted over the centuries to Brand and lastly Brando. And Daemons being gradually portrayed as evil, relates to Daemon herself gradually becoming more evil and her descendants inheriting that evil will.

Stand: I Dehumanize- name based on the song I from the band Black Sabbath's Dehumanize album.
Stand User: Daemon Symbol.

Ability: I Dehumanize, initially called just I, can touch a target, remove its true name, then give it a proper name that fits its true purpose. The being is then reshaped to fit that purpose. However, as I Dehumanize becomes more evil, it changes to being more self-serving with its power to reshape beings to suit Daemon's own purposes. It cannot be used to alter Daemon's own body and needs direct contact to work.

Destructive Power: A- Stronger than a normal human or Stand, but a person with a superior Herald/ability than I Dehumanize or fierce resolve can overcome the powers of the Stand.

Speed: A- It is able to touch and alter the target's name and give them a new purpose via a new form at near-impossible speeds. It takes incredible strategy, superior Herald.

Range: D- Has to be in direct contact with the target via touch.

Persistence: A- Changes are permanent and at I Dehumanize's discretion to re-alter when touching again. Therefore, once needs a superior intellect to counter touch with the power or have powers superior than I Dehumanize.

Precision: A- Is able to precisely remove a person's name, give them a new name and alter their composition/abilities to suit that purpose.

Development Potential: N/A- As ability has set perimeters, it cannot evolve or improve.

Stand User Rank: A- It is one of the deadliest Close Range Stands in existence. With only the strongest Herald users with fierce resolve being able to combat it.
