From my fanfic, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 9: Stairway To Heaven . Job was one of the earliest known Stand users whose ancestors came into contact with the meteor that wiped out the majority of the dinosaurs- a substance that allowed the bestowal of these unusual powers. He eventually came into contact with Elohim Cain, a dinosaur given a Stand and an extended life-span. The two came into conflict when the dinosaur wiped out the ape's tribe, resulting in Job killing the beast in revenge. Unknowingly, the energies of Elohim's Stand infected Job's wife, resulting in the birth of Daemon Symbol millions of years later. Job was the ancestor of the Joestar lineage and through his Stand, the progenitor of the Hamon energy. Compared to the more hyper-aggressive and belligerent members of his species, Job had a higher level of understanding- being clever, inventive, creative, and strategic- though with a mischievousness of a primate. Job ultimately died a natural death due to old age expected of his species, with his descendants inheriting his will.

The lyrics of Positive Touch is about resilience and a lover that won't turn the singer away like the previous lover did to the person. I chose this in tandem with the name, Job- the infamous biblical character whose life was ruined between a wager between the devil and God, but due to his unwavering faith in god, he was able to return to happiness once more. The Joestars would suffer immense tragedies- some drastically more than others, but ultimately achieve happiness.

The idea of having the earliest known Joestar ancestor be an ape-ancestor played to how it differs from Elohim Cain. The latter is defined by cold-blooded ruthlessness, power, and brute force of a natural gift of an overwhelming power while the former is defined by being adaptable, tactical, and wise with the limitations of their powers. Plus, having an ape ancestor Stand user signifies a unique Stand User that's an intermediary between man and beast as well as a primordial edge to the Joestars. The wooden joints to the form was to give the idea that Positive Touch is still an artificial being that happens to look like a pink ape-man- a precursor to the metallic Stands of the future. Positive Touch is designed as a Bigfoot as an inspiration of the several big-footed apemen like the Yeti, Sasquatch, etc. Its powers is meant to be the parallel to Welcome To The Dark- being the purification to its corruption. Its powers also subconsciously imbued the successors of the hominid ancestors- humanity with knowledge of Hamon. The pink and innocent look was to be a contrast to the overtly evil Welcome To The Dark.
