Description
Flag of France from my Anglo-Iberia timeline, used from the mid-1700's until 1904, when it was made illegal to fly by Order of the Annexation of France, laid down in the Treaty of Etampes. It was still flown for many years over Anglo-Iberian annexed France, as well as more commonly in the independant French City-States.In the 1920's, during the French independance movement, there was a resurgence in its use, and at the Paris Convention was one of the most popular candidates for the New French Republic - however, it eventually lost out to the "Flower of France" flag, having been deemed "too imperial" for the New Republic.

Well it is better than the Drapeau blanc, but I have never liked the messy unrecognised nature of pre-revolutionary French flags.
About the only good thing the revolution did was introduce a nice clean, and simple design.
Great work though. Not commenting on the craftsmanship.

Agreed, agreed, although some would contest that a completly blank white flag is suitable for the French
